The Nimble Minds Programme is devised to work on the 4 C’s of Education:

• Critical thinking

• Collaboration

• Communication

• Creativity

This course has been designed for children who would like to start one term early before joining the 7+ programme in January 2027. The aim is to build the core thinking habits, confidence and academic foundations that allow children to transition smoothly into formal 7+ preparation.

Key areas covered throughout the term:

• Verbal reasoning foundations

• Non-verbal and spatial reasoning

• Early maths problem solving

• Reading comprehension

• Vocabulary development

• Listening and memory skills

• Independence and confidence building

Sessions are taught in small groups with high adult support and focus on developing reasoning, listening, language, independence and exam readiness through games, discussion and structured challenges.

These group sessions are designed to be enjoyable and to boost your child’s confidence.

The sessions are planned Helene Jones and Sarah Mercer. They will be taught by Sarah, with an assistant.
