Give Your Child the Competitive Edge for 11+ and ISEB Success

While English and Maths are core subjects in the curriculum, Reasoning is often overlooked despite being a key component of the school admissions process. Unlike Maths and English, Reasoning is not formally taught in most schools and varies widely in how (or if) it is covered. As a result, many children do not receive the structured preparation they need to excel in reasoning-based entrance exams such as the ISEB Pre-Test, 11+, and CAT4.

Our course is designed to bridge this gap—ensuring your child develops the skills and confidence to stand out in competitive admissions tests.

This specialist course is designed to prepare children for the ISEB Pre-Tests and 11+ exams in the autumn term, as well as the crucial Reasoning component of in-school ability tests such as the CAT4.

With a carefully structured approach, we develop key skills in:

• Verbal, Non-Verbal, Spatial, and Logical Reasoning

• Mathematical Reasoning and Problem-Solving

• Timed Reasoning Tests under real exam conditions

• Exam Technique – reinforced throughout the course

• Collaborative Problem-Solving Activities – reasoning in action

• Vocabulary Development – boosting language skills for English and Reasoning

• Engaging Thinking Games to enhance concentration, critical thinking, processing speed, working memory, creativity, communication, and collaboration

• Interview Preparation – equipping children with the skills to shine

These small-group sessions are designed to build confidence, sharpen critical thinking, and ensure your child is fully prepared for their admissions tests.

To provide the best possible learning experience, we are limiting places to just eight students, with a maximum 4:1 teacher-child ratio.
