SPECIALIST TEACHER ASSESSMENTS
4 to 11 years

Helene combines over thirty years of teaching experience with specialist teacher assessment qualifications to assess individual children's learning.  She assesses Reasoning, English and using a range of standardised assessments.  She holds a Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing, Assessment and Access Arrangements (CPT3A). She is a member of the British Psychological Society and is on their Register of Qualified Test Users (RQTU).

All assessments are followed by a feedback consultation with parents. Helene explains the assessment results and gives advice on how best to boost learning at home.  A written summary of the results is provided including a bespoke list of the very best books, games and resources to boost the individual child's learning.

REASONING ASSESSMENTS

Busy parents want to know how best to help their child with reasoning and thinking skills at home. A reasoning assessment is the best starting point, providing a professional and objective snapshot of an individual’s reasoning ability.

ENGLISH AND MATHS ASSESSMENTS

Helene combines knowledge and experience assessing core subjects with assessment skills and qualifications. Individual learning assessments enable her to measure these key skills and highlight strengths and weaknesses. Standardised score enable meaningful comparisons against expectations for the child’s age and stage at school.

EARLY YEARS ASSESSMENTS  (4 to 5 year olds)

Assessment at this age is dynamic and informal. Through observing and working with the child, Helene is able to clearly see what each individual needs to work on. She advises parents on practical, enjoyable activities. These help younger children to build a sound base for their learning.
